Mobile World Congress ove je godine posjetilo rekordnih 108.000 ljudi iz 208 zemalja, što je za 7 posto više nego lani, a oko 23 posto posjetitelja bile su žene. Na MWC-u je nastupilo više od 2300 izlagača, kongres je pratilo 3500 novinara i analitičara. Sljedeći MWC kongres se u Barceloni održava od 26. veljače do 1. ožujka 2018. Podsjećamo, do 2005. godine kongres se održavao u Cannesu u Francuskoj (pod nazivom 3GSM World Congress), a od 2006. godine u Barceloni, koja je na svim kasnijim natječajima pobjeđivala druge gradove – na posljednjem natječaju uz Barcelonu sudjelovali su Pariz, Munchen i Milano. MWC će se u Barceloni održavati do 2023. kada slijedi novi natječaj za gostoprimstvo kongresa.

Vraćamo se u sadašnjost. GSMA asocijacija je u Barceloni na netom završenom MWC 2017 proglasila pobjednike u velikom broju kategorija. Donosimo sve pobjednike, među kojima su nam svakako najzanimljiviji pobjednici u kategorijama smartfona.
